This past weekend The Virginia Professional Photographers Association held our annual convention in Richmond.  It's a time where we all gather to learn.  Learn from fantastic speakers, educators, from each other and through print competition.  Now, don't get me wrong...we also have a lot of fun, laughter and even party a little...

and as you can see, even our parties invovle some creative photography.

Education is very important to us, so we can keep the standards of professional photography high.  One part of our continuing education is the annaul print competition.  Print competition is more than just a "contest", in fact it is rigid test of your ptint making skills, and the creation of an image.  It's designed to award your for great work, and to understand why, so you can learn what is right and what is wrong.  It's designed to make your better at your craft, so what you learned can be incorporated in your clients work.  This year, we are very excited to announce that we walked away with 4 Blue Ribbon Prints! Pretty exciting!   So, we thought we would share them with you.  Two of those images are pet images(it's our passion, as you know) and two are images I captured in Wyoming this past September.  I hope you enjoy them.  Let us know what you think! :)

Also Monday, watch for a special announcement on our Limited Edition Sessions to celebrate our success in Richmond..
